I’ve been working with children for 15 years now and I love it. I am currently enrolled in school to take more childcare courses to better understand children with developmental or behavioral issues. I also would like to add being a preschool director is not just about the children. TLC is a ministry who provides jobs and a safe haven for people who may have never had a job, may have social anxiety, or may just need a place to work where they can be loved and prayed for. Not everyone goes to church, but we bring church to them. We teach children, but before a person can teach a child, we pour into them spiritually. I’ve seen hearts change and women become a better version of themselves just by working at TLC. From praying for medical needs, showing up when help is needed, to helping  coworker short on rent or daycare, we are a family.
