Grace

Grace

Do you know the greatness of God’s Grace toward you? In this message, Pastor Tim Martin shares about how God takes a broken vessel and puts it back together to make it more beautiful than ever.

Grace is the unmerited, undeserved favor of God.

2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you”
Sufficient means enough… enough for whatever you need.

Tim’s story: Working hard all the time to provide for his young family. God was not a priority.
Tim prayed, “I want to give You everything I have. I want to give it all to You.” He Made a deal with God. “I’ll give You everything, and I want You to give me everything You have for me.”

God is faithful to hear your prayers and answer them in His time and His terms.

A few months later, he went on a men’s weekend. Tim was alone with God.
You need to find that place alone with God to hear from Him.
”I felt like there was more. There’s got to be more to life than what I’m doing. I need You, God, to tell me.”
“I was broken before God crying out to Him.” God took abandonment, alcoholism, unforgiveness, etc. He swept it away.
“God put me back together that day.”

When you are broken before God and He puts you back together, there are no pieces missing.

The key to a good relationship is spending time together.

God breathed on me… The breath of God… the Holy Spirit. That one breath was the beginning of a relationship with my Heavenly Father… a relationship of trust and love. ”God was there to lead and guide and show me where to go.”

Proverbs 3:5 ”Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” With ALL your heart… With your finances… With your relationships. Do you really trust the Lord with ALL your heart?

John 3:16

God saw that we needed a savior
He knew he needed someone to live a sinless life.
He gave His only son.
He loves you enough to give the best of the best.
God chose to give His son that He could offer reconciliation to every person.
He invites you to receive Him, to chose Him.
God watched every part of the life of Jesus.
He allowed Jesus to suffer in order that we could be brought into fellowship with Him.
